The arrival of big nets of coffee to the Brazilian market should stimulate the internal consumption to point of the country surpass the U.S.A. as bigger consumer of the product in the world in the near four years. At least that is the goal of the ABIC (Brazilian Association of Industry of Coffee).

Beyond the stimulus to the consumption, by the novelty and to consequent curiosity of the consumers, Nathan Herszkowicz, director of the Abic, believes that the nets will be able to modify the profile whose drinks coffee traditionally, as occurred us U.S.A. and in the Europe. "The houses of coffee are creating a new consumer. Infants and youths in all of the places of the world are the that less consomem coffee, by count of the creation of today. Achocolatados, juices, isotônicos and many others products dispute taste him. Brazil should close the year with the consumption of 16,5 millions of sacks of coffee, to a medium growth of around 4%, reaching 21 millions of sacks in 2010. In the remainder of the world, the rate is of 1,5%.
